*Overview*
We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of personal care services. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping others and ensuring the well-being of those they care for.
*Responsibilities*
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with meal preparation and feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Escort clients to appointments or outings as needed
*Skills*
- Experience in providing personal care assistance
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR and the ability to obtain a certification in both before beginning work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of clients
- Understanding of the needs of individuals in various care settings, including in a home setting
