PURPOSE :
Plans, organizes, and manages large project(s) usually with 50 or more direct and indirect assigned personnel for successful performance consistent with corporate initiatives / projects / programs. Acquires follow-on business associated with assigned projects and supports new business development by leading or assisting with proposals and / or building credible and complete business cases. Acts as a lead for junior and mid-level staff. Works closely with customer(s) and team to ensure open and regular communication, both written and oral. Develops, implements and manages project schedule and budget to meet corporate requirements. Leads and mentors direct report(s) to grow the leadership team on the project. Identifies new capabilities to present to customer(s) to grow business and leverages existing customer relationships to identify new customers that need current and new capabilities. Interfaces with leadership, external parties, and key stakeholders establish / clarify objectives, set expectations, and communicate high-priority risks and issues.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Oversees the initiating and planning of program / project activities and analysis and performs professional or technical work related to program management. Manages the execution effort by controlling scope, budget, schedule, quality, risk, customer satisfaction in accordance with the contract requirements.
- Plans and organizes program / project activities and analysis and performs professional or technical work related to program management. Manages and provides program / project status updates to leadership and key stakeholders. Manages the planning, organizing, completing, and presenting assessments of program / project management concepts, analyses, studies, and procedures.
- Conducts and oversees quality assurance on major deliverables.
- Provides significant support for proposal / pricing development and / or business case development. Represents delivery and technical approaches and risks / concerns to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Manages customer interactions and expectations.
- Attends to staffing needs, such as interviewing, rewards & recognition, mentoring, and conflict resolution.
- Manages the evaluation of implications / risks on existing or proposed projects, programs, processes, and policies / laws and implements improvements.
- Acts as a mentor to junior Project Managers.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY :
This position manages people.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education Level : Bachelor's Degree OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.

Salary Range : $142,400 - $264,330
