We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Marina Dock Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the marina, ensuring that all boats and equipment are well-maintained and that our customers receive exceptional service. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for the marine environment.
Duties
- Assist with the docking and undocking of boats, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Must be willing to clean, boats thoroughly mulitple times daily.
- Perform routine maintenance on marina equipment and facilities, including cleaning docks and fueling stations. Must be willing to refuel boats daily.
- Help customers with boat reservations, providing guidance on safety procedures and operational instructions. Must be an outgoing person. If dont like to talk to people you wont be a good candidate.
- Monitor marina activity to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Must be willing to complete daily logs.
- Maintain an organized workspace, including storage areas for equipment and supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist in rigging boats as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge to ensure proper setup.
Experience
- Previous experience in a marina or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Mechanical knowledge is highly desirable, particularly in rigging and maintaining marine equipment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
