Careful Security | Full-Time | $80K–$100K Base Commission (OTE $150K )
Are you passionate about cybersecurity and skilled at building relationships that lead to real business growth? Careful Security is looking for a driven and consultative Sales Representative in Los Angeles to help mid-market companies strengthen their security and compliance posture.
We’re not your average cybersecurity firm. We offer a full suite of compliance readiness (ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI), security monitoring, penetration testing, and system hardening services—with a business-friendly, risk-prioritized approach.
- Prospect and qualify leads from marketing campaigns, LinkedIn, networking events, and your own research
- Run discovery calls and tailor solutions based on client compliance gaps and security needs
- Close deals for cybersecurity services such as:
- Compliance Readiness (ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS)
- Penetration Testing
- SIEM Monitoring
- Virtual CISO and Risk Advisory
- Collaborate with our technical team to create compelling proposals and project scopes
- Maintain activity in our CRM and track pipeline, follow-ups, and closed deals
- Attend industry events and represent Careful Security’s thought leadership in cybersecurity
- 2 years of B2B sales experience (cybersecurity, SaaS, IT services, or compliance preferred)
- Consultative mindset—you sell by solving problems, not pushing features
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity pain points for small to mid-sized businesses
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Based in Los Angeles or surrounding area (hybrid role with in-person client meetings and events)
- Experience selling to CISOs, CTOs, or compliance officers
- Familiarity with frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, or NIST
- Competitive base salary uncapped commissions
