Private Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing the quality of life for clients by delivering personalized care tailored to their specific needs. This role requires a strong commitment to fostering a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for clients, particularly those with memory care and home health needs.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
• Support clients with mobility and physical exercises to enhance their physical health.
• Offer specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
• Communicate effectively with family members regarding client’s needs, preferences, and any concerns that may arise.

Experience

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of medication administration, care plans, memory care techniques, and home community care practices is advantageous.
• Familiarity with social work principles and home health services will be considered a plus.
• A caring attitude combined with strong communication skills is essential for success in this role.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

• CNA or HHA: 4 years (Required)
