Job Summary
The Home and Community-Based Services Aide is responsible for providing support and assistance with daily living tasks to enable individuals to remain in their own homes.
- Specific Responsibilities:
- Report observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or Account Manager, immediately notify in case of incidents or accidents
- Safely operate a vehicle, comply with traffic regulations, and wear a seatbelt during business travel
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, oral hygiene, nail care, skin care, and transfers
- Perform household tasks essential to personal care
Desired Experience
- At least six months of experience in home care preferred
- Successful completion of a competency evaluation
Licenses and Requirements
- Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
- Current CPR certification
State-Specific Requirements
- FL: Completion of at least 40 hours of training in required areas or passing the home health aide competency test (Form AHCA 3110-1007)
