Full-Time Tribal Liaison
Careline Crisis Services, Inc. seeks a culturally knowledgeable Alaska Tribal Liaison to enhance service delivery and foster partnerships between Careline and Alaska Tribal health organizations. This position will engage collaboratively in statewide crisis service planning and implementation, ensuring that the mental health and crisis response needs of Alaska Native communities are met in a culturally competent, collaborative, and effective manner. The Careline Tribal Liaison will work closely with Tribal health organizations and community stakeholders to improve access to Careline’s crisis services, working to develop or expand pathways between Careline and Tribal health systems across the state. As a member of the Careline team, you will interact with clients and staff in a respectful and empowering manner, exercise consistent and dependable attendance, and attend all mandatory staff meetings. At Careline, all staff present themselves professionally and maintain confidentiality when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Psychology, Indigenous Studies, or a related field; prior work experience may be used in place of the degree. We expect our candidates to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, group, and written communication skills, a commitment to the agency's mission and goals, the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and lifestyles, and the ability to work independently and pass a background check. Candidates should be proficient with computers and frequent data entry.
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week) with occasional overtime and may include weekends.
Shifts Available: Mostly Monday through Friday 9-5.
Salary: Determined by experience, non-exempt.
Location: This position may work out of an office in Fairbanks, an office in Wasilla, a hybrid (some combination of in-office and remote work), or be fully remote. The agency is most interested in finding the best candidate, and the work location can be flexible for this position. Remote employees must submit evidence of a dedicated workspace and proof of access to adequate internet connectivity to support the position's activities, including frequent meetings on web-based platforms.
