The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients, ensuring high-quality pharmaceutical services. *Duties* - Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist - Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies - Assist in the preparation of sterile products using aseptic technique, including IV infusions - Provide excellent patient care and customer service - Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals in an acute care or hospital setting - Utilize medical terminology accurately - Follow established procedures for labeling, packaging, and storing pharmaceuticals - Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment *Experience* - Certification as a Pharmacy Technician - Experience in an acute care or hospital pharmacy setting is preferred - Proficiency in inhalation therapy and critical care pharmacy practices - Knowledge of aseptic techniques and IV infusion procedures - Strong understanding of pharmacy operations and medical terminology
