Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update accurate patient records in the EHR
- Support front-office operations: scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and referrals
- Assist providers during patient exams and minor procedures
- Prepare and sanitize exam rooms following infection control protocols
- Collect and record vital signs and patient history
- Provide clear post-visit instructions and basic patient education
- Deliver outstanding customer service to patients and clinic visitors
- Maintain inventory and restock medical supplies as needed
- Medical Assistant Certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a medical assistant
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Athena experience highly preferred
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs as part of regular duties
- Reliable transportation is required for occasional travel to nearby clinic sites
- Paid Holidays: 11 per year
