Position : Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Pay : $19 / hr
Schedule : Tuesday – Friday, 7 : 30 AM – 6 : 00 PM (4
- 10s) - 40 hours weekly
Duration : 6-month contract (Possible extension)
Location : Primarily Casa Grande & Maricopa, AZ (Travel to other locations as needed)
Overview :
We are seeking Medical Assistants to join our team, primarily serving patients at our Casa Grande and Maricopa clinics . In cases of staff shortages, you may be required to travel to our other clinic locations, including Apache Junction, San Tan Valley, Coolidge, and Eloy. However, we will do our best to keep your assignments within Casa Grande and Maricopa.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist healthcare providers in patient care, including vitals, medical history documentation, and basic clinical procedures.
Prepare examination rooms and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
Administer medications and vaccinations under provider supervision.
Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and other diagnostic procedures as required.
Maintain accurate patient records using the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and follow-up care.
Support front office duties as needed, such as scheduling appointments and verifying insurance.
Travel to other clinic locations as needed to support staffing shortages.
Qualifications :
Must have a Medical Assistant Certificate from an approved and accredited medical assistant program.
Previous clinical experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
BLS / CPR certification is required.
Ability to travel to other clinic locations if needed.
