The HR Analyst will be tasked with performing in-depth analyses of HR data to support decision-making and optimize processes through data-driven insights. This role demands strong expertise in BI reporting tools, advanced Excel functions, and mathematical skills. The analyst will play a crucial role in monitoring and interpreting key metrics, identifying trends, and offering actionable recommendations that enhance the overall effectiveness of the Human Resources function.
Responsibilities
1. BI Report and Dashboard Development: Develop, maintain, and enhance BI reports and dashboards to
monitor HR metrics (e.g., employee turnover, headcount, compensation, etc.).
2. Data Analysis and Trend Identification:
• Conduct detailed analysis of HR data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through data analysis.
• Perform complex calculations and create dynamic models to support HR initiatives.
• Develop predictive models to assist in workforce planning and decision-making.
3. Data Presentation and Communication:
• Present findings in a clear, concise manner to HR leadership and other stakeholders.
• Communicate complex data findings in a way that is understandable to non-technical stakeholders.
4. Data Management and Integrity
• Use advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros) to manage and manipulate large
datasets.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR data across all systems.
5. Collaboration and Requirements Gathering: Work closely with HR Business Partners, Payroll, and other departments to gather requirements and deliver data insights.
6. Process Improvement and Implementation: Implement data-driven solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the HR function.
7. Support for Compliance and Audits: Support HR audits and compliance initiatives by providing accurate data and reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in an HR Analyst or similar analytical role.
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau, coupled with advanced Excel skills. Experience with UKG or iCims reporting capabilities a huge plus.
- Exceptional mathematical aptitude, with expertise in performing complex calculations and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, capable of dissecting complex data sets and deriving meaningful insights.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects efficiently.
