What are the responsibilities and job description for the Developmental Disability Coordinator position at CareOne Medical Group?
CareOne Group is seeking an individual to be hands on in all facets of the company’s developmental disability residential program to help CareOne Group grow and expand its existing services. The coordinator will manage Shared Living, Supported Family Living, Independent Living, and Respite Services and will be responsible for
· Bringing in new referrals to CareOne Groups residential program
· Provide intake of new clients and maintain client files and paperwork
· Coordination of services for current clients
· Hiring, training and scheduling of direct care staff
· Ensure tracking and billing of direct service hours
· Managing all necessary information needed for company recertification with DHHS
· Submission of all required reports to DHHS
Requirements
- Experience as a Residential Coordinator highly preferred
- Experience in managing/supervising employees
- 3-5 years of experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Experience with DD Waivers, writing habilitative programs and using Therap
- Must have sufficient knowledge of computer systems (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Attention to detail and adherence to policies and procedures
- Experience with process improvement and procedure development
