The primary responsibility of the Workforce Analyst is to ensure the company workforce initiatives are in adherence to policy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in collecting and analyzing workforce data from multiple sources.
- Develop and maintain data dashboards and reports to track key workforce metrics.
- Develop staff schedules and analyze staff performance data .
- Create forecasts to optimize workforce management .
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support workforce planning initiatives.
- Generate insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve workforce effectiveness.
- Report data management activities around employee scheduling and forecasts
- Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of scheduling software
- Undertake the review and record of time worked against the proper job task code.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Minimum five years’ experience forecasting required, preferably in a healthcare environment, i.e. scheduling, staffing optimization, etc.
- Ability to create and manipulate data modeling and relational database
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Self-starter/Teamwork abilities: Workforce analyst must be able to work independently as well as function effectively as a member of a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer skills: They must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Office, in order to store data, create reports, produce schedules and perform other tasks
