Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing business systems analysis at an entry level. Core work includes gathering and documenting business requirements, translating customer needs, and developing functional requirements in support of business strategies.
Essential Responsibilities
- Participate in Agile ceremonies for development teams, including daily scrum and sprint planning.
- Work towards developing functional requirements for new and existing processes.
- Perform QA on simple processes and reports that have been built by developers.
- Assist with managing the inbound request queue; communicate status with stakeholders.
- Assist with tracking request status, assignments and completion.
- Gather and document business requirements.
- Participate in collaboration with diverse groups and individuals; grow and maintain customer relationships at all organizational levels.
- Translate information requests from internal customers into actionable tasks for analysts and/or developers.
- Provide project status reports as required.
- Multi-task several deliverables based on assigned priority.

Experience and/or Education
Required
- Minimum 1 year of business systems analysis or other experience involving technical analysis. Experience should include some or all of the following:
- Gathering requirements
- Systems analysis and design/design configuration
- Researching technical problems and identifying solutions
- Creating system documentation
- Agile/Scrum methodology
Preferred
- Additional experience in related technology support and/or operational positions
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Knowledge
- Base level understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
- Some knowledge/skills of Microsoft SQL Server
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to gather, compile and analyze data
- Ability to research technical problems and identify solutions
- Skills in creating and maintaining system documentation
- Effective communication skills, including listening, verbal, written, and customer service
- Ability to articulate policies and instructions
