In doing so, caregivers / companions will ensure each client’s dignity, respect, and independence. You will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse and provide non-medical services such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, warm companionship, and medication reminders.
Although not a requirement, we strongly encourage those with CNA, GNA, and HHA credentials to apply. Essential Duties : Develops and promotes a safe environment for quality client care through adherence to established standards, policies and procedures Ensures clean, safe living space (i.
Records and reports any changes or concerns in behavior to the Director of Nursing via written and verbal communication Provides verbal reminders for medication Plans, prepares, and serves meals to client Accompanies and attends social events with clients Adheres to the established care plan Administers duties with the utmost professionalism and respect Knowledge, Skills & Abilities : Must be 18 years of age or older with a HS diploma or GED Two (2) years of documented experience (preferably providing caregiving experience with adults) Hold a valid, non-expired driver’s license Have current CPR / First Aid Certification Can provide evidence of a Negative TB skin test or Chest X-ray Able to bend, stoop, push and physically assist with needs of client Able to read, write, and understand English Ability to adhere to HIPAA and client confidentiality mandates What You Can ExpectWorking for a company where your efforts, ideas and contributions are rewarded regularly Smart mobile technology for GPS time, attendance and care management One-to-one client care In-Service Trainings Student loan repayment, paid childcare benefits, etc.
