- Manage financial aspects of the practice, including budgeting, billing, and collections.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Implement and maintain office systems for efficient patient management and record keeping.
- Utilize medical software systems such as Eaglesoft for scheduling, billing, and patient records.
- Coordinate managed care contracts and acute care services to optimize patient care delivery.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and industry standards to enhance office practices.
- Develop training programs for staff on best practices in medical management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical office management or a similar role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance.
- Experience with financial management within a medical practice is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical management systems; experience with Eaglesoft is a plus.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
