Job Overview:
A Human Resource Administrator plays a pivotal role in managing the administrative functions of the human resources department. This role involves a range of tasks from recruitment to employee relations, aiming to ensure the smooth operation of HR processes within an organization.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Human Resource Administrator will participate in all phases of an Associate’s experience with CareScape
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Job Posting: Crafting and posting job advertisements on various platforms.
- Screening Candidates: Reviewing resumes and conducting initial interviews to shortlist potential candidates.
- Interview Coordination: Scheduling and organizing interviews, coordinating with managers.
- Onboarding: Facilitating the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing necessary documentation and conducting orientation sessions.
HR Administration
Initially working with the General Manager, the successful candidate will take on an increasing number of Human Resource Administrative functions, to include:
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Payroll Assistance: Assisting with payroll processing and ensuring timely payment of salaries and benefits.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, updating HR policies as necessary.
- Reporting: Preparing and presenting reports on HR metrics such as employee turnover, attendance, and recruitment efficiency.
Training and Development
- Needs Assessment: Identifying training needs through employee feedback, performance appraisals, and consultation with managers.
- Program Development: Designing and implementing training programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
- Evaluation: Assessing the effectiveness of training programs and making necessary adjustments.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.

Experience:
- Previous experience in an HR administrative role is preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with recruitment processes and employee relations is an asset.
