Skill Set and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile)
  • Technical Knowledge and Experience: Familiarity with automotive industry (design/ manufacturing/benchmarking).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Japanese; strong presentation skills for technical and business audiences.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Professional communication with customers; ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Customer Interaction: Ability to present to groups, facilitate workshops, and translate complex technical info into customer-friendly terms.
  • Positive objective-oriented attitude and can work well in demanding and challenging environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Demos and Training: Prepare and deliver custom, on-demand product demonstrations and solutions for customers. Run effective presentations, meetings, and workshops for clients. Develop and provide tailored training sessions for customers.
  • Relationship Management: Build long-term customer relationships by understanding and meeting their needs.
  • Customer Support: Offer timely technical support and problem resolution for customer queries;
  • Marketing Support: Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events and support in lead generation and customer acquisition
  • Account Management and Sales Support:
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to provide technical expertise during customer pitches and close deals.
  • Monitor and manage assigned customer accounts to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively address customer concerns to maintain long-term partnerships and reduce churn
  • Upsell Opportunities: Spot potential for additional products or services to enhance customer value and account growth.
  • Highlight product benefits through demos and presentations tailored to customer pain points
  • Teamwork:
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product Development teams.
  • Liaise with local and global technical experts, Sales, and Account Management team
  • Share customer insights with Sales and Product teams to refine offerings and boost market appeal.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
