What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions Assistant position at Carespring?
We need an Admissions Assistant to join our team at the Advanced Therapy Center at Chesterwood Village in West Chester, OH.
As an Admissions Assistant you'll support the Director of Admissions and the facility leadership. You'll ensure that patients who transition into the facility enjoy an efficient and thorough admissions process.
$15 to $22 Per Hour
You'll Be Responsible For:
- Ensuring all data required for admissions is documented in EMR (including sex offender checks, PASRR/HENS)
- Running Dorado checks on new referrals & validating appropriate payer sources
- Working with case management to obtain prior authorizations, assess copay/financial responsibilities, & communicate with the Director of Admissions
- Helping to communicate with families
- Assisting the Director of Admissions by occasionally providing tours of the facility
- Providing accurate information to residents and answering families' questions according to facility rules & regulations
- Complete necessary sign-in paperwork for new admissions
- Coordinate with senior living staff regarding shared prospects
You'll Need To Have:
- A High school diploma or the equivalent
- Successful completion of Outmatch Assessment to demonstrate proper aptitude
- Organizational & communication skills
- Proactive nature & the ability to anticipate the needs of the patients & families.
