POSITION TITLE: Accounts Payable Clerk
REPORTS TO: Director of Accounting
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
CareSTL Health is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk. he Accounts Payable Clerk will perform the duties of entering invoices and communicating with vendors on payments. This position is responsible for accounts payable and maintaining a comprehensive filing system of invoices.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The following information is considered the definition of essential functions but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. The Accounts Pavable Clerk may be reassigned duties and responsibilities at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other staffing reasons.
- Enter Accounts Payable Invoices and write checks with CFO approval.
- Monitor outstanding check list.
- Maintain orderly financial filing system.
- Assemble financial data for audits.
- Work with department managers across the organization to for proper approval process.
OTHER DUTIES:
- Follow established guidelines for use and/or disclosure of protected health information.
- Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- High School Diploma.
Experience:
- 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Thorough knowledge of accounts payable practices and procedures.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to meet all assigned deadlines.
- Good communication and administrative skills.
Transportation Requirement:
- Must have Reliable Transportation
Supervisory Responsibility:
- None

- Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
