POSITION TITLE: Director of Sites (RN)
REPORTS TO: Interim Director of Nursing
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
- CareSTL Health is Seeking a Director of Sites (RN) to join our team. Director of Sites, oversees all aspects of the operating site, from supervising nursing staff to motoring patient care. You need extensive clinical experience, prior administrative experience, and training in both nursing and management. Also need strong communication skills diplomacy and the ability to take leadership of any situation. ,
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following information is considered the definition of essential functions but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. The Director of Sites (RN) may be reassigned duties and responsibilities at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other staff reasons.
- Acts as facility contact person and troubleshooter regarding service issues while providing supervisory oversight of nursing support staff to ensure the best health outcome for our patients and their families
- Identifies patient service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand service requirements in addition to assuring the quality of care by interpreting health centers and nursing division's philosophies and standards of care; enforcing adherence to the state board of nursing and state nurse practice act requirements and to other. governing agency regulations; measuring health outcomes against standards; and making or recommending adjustments.
- · Monitor service flow to prevent delays in service and supervise onsite recommendations, making recommendations and reporting them to the Chief Nursing Officer
- Conducts Random audits to ensure policy and procedure compliance while ensuring proper intervention, documentation, and reporting of patient concerns
- Maintains nursing staff by recruiting; selecting, and orienting. and training nurses and auxiliary staff and completing patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff; following up on work results while maintaining adequate staffing
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
• B.AJB.S. in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or Business Administration preferred
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Valid registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider training (BCLS)
• Current.CPR Certification
Experience:
• 1-2 years of experience in a community health center and/or hospital setting
• 1-2 years of supervisory duties in a community health center and/or hospital setting
Knowledge, $kills, and Abilities:
• Knowledge of information and techniques in providing excellent patient care
• Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems such as electronic transmission via facsimile and/or internet
• Good computer skills including the use of office procedures and terminology
• Good self-motivation and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to work all health center sites
• Understanding of the complexities of integrating services
• Knowledge of data management through·use of IT
Transportation Requirement:
• Must have reliable Transportation
Supervisory Responsibility:

Additional Information:
Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
