Are you a people person with a love for animals? We are looking for a friendly and organized Veterinary Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our valued clients and their beloved pets. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy delivering top-notch customer service, we want to meet you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly welcome clients and assist with patient check-in, invoicing, and discharge
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and processing payments
- Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls, schedule appointments, and relay messages to doctors and staff
- Handle mail and email correspondence efficiently
- Maintain and update patient records with accuracy
- Enter data into a computerized billing system
- Retrieve prescriptions and assist clients with pet supply purchases (food, supplements, grooming products)
- Ensure the waiting room remains clean and welcoming
- Assist with retail sales of pet products
What We’re Looking For:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education/work experience
- Strong customer service skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using technology and learning new systems
- Outstanding communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively
