Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing front-of-house staff, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. This role requires strong leadership skills and a passion for the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and train front-of-house staff, including servers and hosts, to ensure high-quality service.
- Manage the daily operations of the dining area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Oversee the reservation system and coordinate seating arrangements to maximize efficiency.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication between front and back of house.
- Monitor food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations.
- Assist in planning and executing special events, including banquets and private parties.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including food preparation methods and ingredients to assist guests effectively.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order management and payment processing.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Experience in banquet management or event coordination is preferred.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food handling and preparation techniques.
- Proficiency in Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to conduct interviews and train new staff effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests alike.
