What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Transporter position at Carillon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center?

- Assist unit staff with transfer of residents/patients as necessary.
- Transports residents and patients to/from therapy treatment areas.
- Monitors residents and patients during exercise routines.
- Assists with set-up/clean-up of treatment areas.
- Assists with the cleaning and distribution of wheelchairs.
- Maintain equipment and make minor repairs.
- Assists with clerical duties (i.e. copying, faxing, filing, answering phones, etc.).
- Keeps work area neat and orderly.
- Maintains residents' and patients' safety during transport and while assisting in treatment area.
- Responds well to instructions and guidance, finds solutions to work related problems, and completes assignments independently, not requiring constant supervision.
- Attends and participates in required and MANDATORY in-service educational programs, on the job training programs, etc. as directed and/or scheduled.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
