Caring for People Services is looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO)
to join our executive leadership team. As a business rooted in family, we pride ourselves
on providing the highest quality care to our clients and patients while developing our employees for ongoing success.
The COO oversees the organization's ongoing operations and procedures. You will be our company’s second-in-command, reporting directly to the President & CEO, and responsible for business efficiency and the development of referral source relationships.   In collaboration with the President & CEO, the COO will be responsible for leading the
long-term strategic vision of our organization. You will work with the executive team to
ensure that our day-to-day operations continuously drive our mission forward and that
our teams are equipped to achieve our goals. As a key leader, you will inspire our teams
to collaborate, innovate and deliver care that helps people thrive. In this role, understanding the needs and struggles of our clients is critical.
  In this vital leadership role, you will drive results, enhance growth and increase the overall efficiencies within the company. You will identify strategies that safeguard the operations, management and administrative procedures, reporting structures and operation controls of the company. You will manage and grow the Home Care and Home HealthCare operations strategically to ensure our organization elevates dignity for all people through accessible, compassionate, quality care.     ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

Leadership and Management Strategy

·         Oversee day-to-day operations of departments including Operations, Sales, Human Resources, Marketing, IT, etc. to ensure business and regulatory compliance.

·         Foster collaboration among departments, leadership teams and partners to support sustainability and improvements that enhance the client and patient experience.

·         Ensure that the organization has a strategic plan to achieve both short-term and
long-term objectives while monitoring consistent and timely progress.

·         Develop and implement overall strategies and refine infrastructure that support organizational success and growth, with a concentration in home healthcare business.

·         Manage teams and provide leadership that aligns with the company’s business plan
and overall strategic vision.

·         Partner with the President & CEO to drive operations and achieve favorable financial results concerning sales, profitability, cash flow, systems, reporting and controls.

·         Set goals for growth that help diversify payer sources and profitability.

·         Research and create effective measurement tools to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external processes.

·         Provide accurate and timely reports that outline the operational condition of the company.

·         Analyze overall operations and identify areas for process improvement.

·         Forge strategic partnerships and trusting relationships with clients, vendors, payer sources and other professional relationships.

·         Inspire, motivate and support employees at all levels by fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes engagement and professional development while building
a world class, industry-leading organization.

·         Ensure employees and management adhere to company policies, procedures
and guidelines.

·         Manage workforce decisions and resource allocation.

 

Risk Management and Ethics

·         Identify and evaluate risks to the organization’s people (e.g., clients, patients, team members), property, finances, brand and company image.

·         Implement processes and measures to mitigate identified risks.

·         Understand ethical behavior and business practices.

·         Exemplify ethical behavior and ensure that others’ actions align with company’s values and standards.

·         Foster a culturally competent workplace.

 

Miscellaneous

·         Execute tasks assigned by the President & CEO.

 

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

 

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal
and listening skills.

·         Proven organizational leadership with expertise in strategic planning and
business development.

·         Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.

·         Strong aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.

·         Ability to manage, coordinate and implement strategies that generate additional
revenue while enhancing existing revenue streams and developing the business.

·         Understand key business functions including Operations, HR, Sales, etc.

·         Proficient in identifying, hiring and retaining high-caliber talent while building trusting relationships in both internal and external settings.

·         Establish creditability for the company in the communities we serve and explore
in-roads to expand our reach into new communities.

·         Manage staff effectively and improve performance issues in a timely fashion.

·         Value people as our most important resource and create an environment that motivates team member toward improved performance.

·         Demonstrate excellence in business acumen, an exemplary work ethic and
personal integrity.

·         Ability to resolve conflict in a positive and constructive manner.

 

 

 

EXPERIENCE:

 

·         Master’s Degree required in Business Administration, Human Resources or
Social/Human Services.

·         Minimum 10 years of management experience and growth.

·         Home care and home healthcare experience required.

·         Bilingual fluency in Spanish is preferred.

Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
