What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities and Fleet Specialist position at Caring Hands & More Llc?
POSITION SUMMARY: Manages and performs the completion of day-to-day maintenance and improvement activities of the agencys facilities. Under limited supervision, prioritizes and performs a variety of skilled, semi-skilled, and basic work in the maintenance of agency facilities and grounds. Manages the preventative and unscheduled maintenance needs of the agencys fleet of vehicles. Promotes agencys property maintenance and repairs, lawn care and snow removal services in the community. Meets with customers to discuss services and provide estimates.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of five years of related experience and a high school diploma or GED. Diversified knowledge and skill in trades related to facility maintenance and repairs and the physical ability to perform the necessary work.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: The ability to manage and prioritize multiple deadlines and work independently in a work environment that has many distractions. A valid driver's license and a driving record that is acceptable from a risk management perspective. The physical ability to meet the frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects and perform other similar actions during the course of each workday. Some evening and weekend hours will be required in conjunction with emergency situations and special events.
