**Job Summary **
This position is part of the Facilities Department located in Coralville, Iowa and will be* on-site.* At IDT, we are one global team. We celebrate our differences, engage in healthy debate, and are inclusive. Together, we accomplish great things!
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair laboratory and mechanical equipment
- Assist in developing SOP’s, IQOQ’s, calibration templates and work instructions for new and existing equipment
- Provide leadership in multiple areas of expertise. Assists in developing ideas/making recommendations to management on improving/streamlining existing processes
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Associate degree in engineering, maintenance, or related field OR 5 years' of experience in a directly related technical role, such as facilities maintenance or engineering
- Demonstrated experience in technical writing, including the creation of manual, user guides or technical documentation.
- Experience working with sketches, technical drawings, and blueprints.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering field
- 5 years of experience in a skilled trades or facilities maintenance field, with at least 2 years of experience working with HVAC and mechanical systems and demonstrated ability to install, maintain and calibrate Rees System sensors, and perform advanced troubleshooting and programming
- Proficient in SAP application for placing purchase requisitions, inventory/requisition lookup
