Job Overview:
We are seeking a Part-Time Bilingual (English & Spanish) skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages. Your role will involve diagnosing and treating common illnesses, managing chronic conditions, and promoting overall health and wellness.
Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical histories
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Prescribe medications and treatments
- Provide counseling on health promotion and disease prevention
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and their families on managing their health conditions
- Perform minor procedures such as suturing, wound care, and biopsies
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Current valid state licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Family Practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner preferred
- Proficiency in ICD-10 coding, behavioral health assessment, laboratory interpretation, psychopharmacology management, ophthalmology assessment, and triage.
-Must be experienced in HEDIS and MRA. MUST also be bilingual .
