Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and manage treatment for various health conditions.
- Provide triage services and prioritize patient needs effectively.
- Administer care for infectious diseases and other acute or chronic health issues.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Utilize Cerner for documentation and management of patient records.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
- Strong knowledge of physiology and standards of care in family medicine.
- Experience in triage, diagnostic evaluation, and infectious disease management.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
