Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and skilled LPNs to join our team at Caring Heights Community Care and Rehabilitation Center. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
About the Role
The primary purpose of this job is to assess resident needs, develop individualized care plans, administer nursing care, evaluate nursing care, and supervise nursing assistants and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care.
Responsibilities:
- Assess resident needs and develop individualized care plans
- Administer nursing care, including medication administration and wound care
- Evaluate nursing care and make recommendations for improvement
- Supervise nursing assistants and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A current, unencumbered license to practice as a LPN within the state in which you work
- A current CPR certification
- The ability to communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions
- Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work with supervisors, co-workers, and community staff in the performance of duties
