JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the planning and the administration of the managerial, operational, fiscal and reporting components of the Assisted Living Programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Hold a Certification as an Assisted Living Administrator
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Knowledge and understanding of rules and regulations (standards) for licensure of Assisted Living Programs.
- Ensuring the development, implementation, and enforcement of all policies and procedures, including resident rights.
- Ensuring that all personnel are employed and assigned duties based upon their ability, education, training and competency to perform the job and in accordance with written job descriptions.
- Ensuring the provision of staff orientation and staff education.
- Ensuring that personnel files are maintained for each staff member employed in the program.
- Administering and supervising non-clinical operations of the program.
- Establishing and maintaining liaison relationships and communication with facility staff and services and with residents and their families.
- Develops and implements procedures for maintaining administrative relationships, communications, and integration with support services, community hospitals, social and mental health service agencies and other community resources.
- Communicating with staff through meetings, conferences and other modes of information exchange.
- Has a full understanding of fire, emergency and safety procedures.
- Performs other responsibilities as may be deemed appropriate by the Administrative team.
