Job Summary
We are seeking a Medical Office Coordinator to oversee the daily technical and administrative operations of our office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Job Type: Full-time, 1099 Position (We do NOT do Hybrid, If you wish to work part time those hours will be In Person)
Requirements
- Age 18 or older
- Basic computer proficiency (Can fax, print, download, use google chrome, etc.)
- Minimum 1 Year of Medical Office Experience
- Proficiency in office management software like MS Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Able to read and have common sense
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls using a multi-line phone system
- Provide administrative support to staff and executives
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Verify patient eligibility and insurance rosters
- Assist with clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and proofreading documents
- Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer support
- Abstracting patient records and coding diagnoses and procedures
- Making referrals and obtaining authorizations
