Part-Time After School Nanny

Position: Part-time After School Nanny

Start Date: ASAP

Rate: $25/hr

Guaranteed Hours: 15 hours/week; School year contract

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 3:00 PM -6:30 PM

Family Ages: 14-year-old, 10-year-old, 5-year-old

Duties: School pickup and after-school activities (reading, tutoring, sports, etc.)

Important Qualities: Childcare experience, ability to help with homework as needed, dependable, reliable, honest, comfortable driving in all weather conditions, and comfortable with two medium-sized dogs

Position Overview:

Seeking a flexible, active, and engaged after school nanny. Family needs help getting kids to various afterschool activities.

- Provide attentive and loving care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

- Transport children to and from activities, appointments, or school as needed.

- Assist with homework and educational tasks as needed.

- Manage daily routines, including naps, baths, and bedtime, as well as school or extracurricular activities.

- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities, including educational games, outdoor play, and creative projects.

- Prepare and serve meals and snacks for the children, adhering to any dietary restrictions or preferences. (Awareness of Allergies)

- Communicate effectively with parents regarding the children’s daily activities, milestones, and any concerns.

- Ensure a positive and respectful environment, fostering the children's emotional and social development.

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a nanny or in a similar childcare role.

- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with parents.

- Patience, reliability, and a genuine passion for working with children.

- Background check and references required.
