- Monitor and document vital signs and changes in the client's health status.
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting independence and facilitating personal growth.
- Ensure resident rights are upheld while providing direct support tailored to individual needs.
- Perform heavy lifting as necessary to assist clients with mobility or transfers.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect client confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Administer first aid when required and respond appropriately to emergencies.
Skills
- Experience in senior care or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Strong understanding of resident rights and the ability to advocate for clients effectively.
- Proficiency in direct support techniques that promote client independence.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively as needed during caregiving tasks.

- Excellent communication skills to interact compassionately with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
