Job Description
The Home Relocation Specialist position involves working closely with Managers and Team Members to maintain operational standards and procedures. This role operates directly under the direction of the Operations Manager, requiring direct interactions with clients and members of the public at-large.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients professionally, receive orders, process payments, and respond effectively to customer issues.
- Assist Team Members in home cleanouts through dumpster disposal, donations, family distribution, estate sale, or relocation.
- Promptly and regularly attend assigned shifts.
- Communicate positively with clients, peers, and Managers.
- Provide exceptional customer service while safely moving, packing/unpacking, and disposing of client household items.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Demonstrated outstanding customer service skills.
- Professional attitude and demeanor necessary.
- Experience in general labor or warehouse settings is advantageous.
- Good hand-eye coordination essential.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to interact productively with coworkers and function well in a team setting.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record necessary.
Physical/Environmental Requirements:
- Frequent walking and/or standing required.
- Stamina to lift heavy items (50 pounds) repeatedly necessary.
