Sales Cruise Specialist

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00a.m.-5:00pm   Positions Supervised:  N/A

                            Some Weekends 

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for managing inventory levels by account and commodity, ensuring optimal stock availability to meet customer demand. This role serves as a liaison among purchasing, customer service, accounting, and sales teams to support the seamless flow of information and coordination, fostering effective communication and timely resolution of account-related matters.

  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels by account and commodities, coordinating with purchasing and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.

 

  • Customer Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for accounts, addressing inquiries and concerns related to inventory availability, order status, and delivery timelines.

 

  • Cross-Departmental Coordination: Serve as a liaison between purchasing, customer service, accounting, and sales to ensure an efficient flow of information and timely updates on accounts needs and inventory statuses.

 

  • Account Support: Assist in the development and maintenance of relationships with key accounts, providing support for specific inventory and order-related needs.

 

  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, sales trends, and account performance, providing insights to management to support strategic decision-making.

 

  • Problem Resolution: Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve any issues related to order fulfillment, billing, or product availability.

 

Ability to travel

  • Ability to work long hours and weekend availability.

 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in inventory management, account management, or a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective working relationships with internal teams and clients.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
