You will manage scattered sites located in the mission district/Bernal heights neighborhood of SF. You will work Mon to Fri from our corporate office - 1358 Valencia street. We look forward to you joining our team!
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Property Manager is responsible for the proper management, maintenance and full occupancy of the property with less than five percent loss of revenue due to vacancy or to collection losses from nonpayment of rent. The Property Manager is expected to use his/her independent discretion and judgment to carte for and be responsible for the overall operation of the property and day to day implementation of policies, procedures and programs that ensure a well maintained building, ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies and federal, state and local laws; develops a supportive environment for all residents, manages onsite staff and their duties, interacts with and supervisors vendors, and if applicable, works with the owner. Must relate well to people, exercise good judgement and independent discretion in dealing with residents, visitors, vendors and staff; required to provide leadership in developing a community and in directing and overseeing the staff.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Manage all aspects of assigned properties
- Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet standards
- Collect rent and post notices
- SKILLS
- Fully understanding property management and its financial aspects
- In depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management
- Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software
- Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills
- Well organized with excellent time management skills
- Must Have: Knowledge in Yardi, Tax Credit, recertification required
- Must Have: Ability to work well under pressure, high emotional intelligence
- Must Have: Experience in Affordable Housing
- Bilingual a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
