Position Description
The warehouse worker supports Caritas’ warehouse operations. The worker is responsible for sorting, inputting, organizing, loading and unloading products as well as various other warehouse activities.
Essential Duties
- Receives donations from individuals and provides receipts.
- Loads and unloads trucks using a manual and automated forklift and pallet jacks.
- Abides by all Caritas safety and hygiene standards.
- Adheres to Caritas of Waco Personnel handbook and appears professional at all times.
- Reports to the Warehouse Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required knowledge, skills and abilities
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Valid Drivers License.
- Fork lift License preferred. Ability to operate pallet jack, hand truck, and other warehouse equipment.
- Experience working in a warehouse, preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with others effectively listen closely and conveys points clearly.
- Able to lift up to 60 pounds
- Able to work independently
Work Schedule and Conditions
- Full-time position, 35 hours a week
- Warehouse setting- climate changes.
- Ability to lift moderate to heavy objects up to 60 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $12.50 per hour
