JOB SUMMARY
Carlson Holdings, Inc. and the Carlson Family Office, is seeking a full time Associate Wealth Planner to join our Wealth Planning team. This position will assist the relationship manager in providing financial plans, investment portfolio management, trust and estate analysis, and general planning administration to four generations of family members. This position will partner closely with other internal departments, including tax, investment, accounting, and other business functions to integrate information and provide analytics with the ultimate goal of assisting multi-generational family members in achieving their personal and financial objectives. This role is a good fit for a current Paraplanner or Client Service Associate ready to take the next step in their career.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Planning
- Generate comprehensive personal financial projections (“Wealth Plans”) which include projected balance sheets, cash flows, debt structure, and philanthropic giving by working closely with the relationship manager and other internal departments
- Assist with client meetings by preparation of meeting agendas / materials, client paperwork, portfolio reviews, financial analysis, and post-client meeting tasks
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of financial plans
- Involvement in ad hoc financial planning, forecast and budgeting projects
- Assist in organizing family member estate plans including analyzing asset titles, updating beneficiary designations, and diagraming trust and estate documents
- Assist with personal insurance reviews and paperwork
- Assist in estate, trust and entity administration
- Involvement in ad hoc administration projects

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The projected salary range for this position is $60K-$100K. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, including education, relevant experience, and skills. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive.
