Logistics Coordinator

We’re hiring a Logistics Coordinator for our Southeast Houston area client!We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately! DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:

• • Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
  • Location: Southeast Houston area
  • Pay: $24-$28/hr.
  • Hours: 9am to 5pm, M-F
  • Duration: Temp-to-hire
  • Description of Duties: Process customer orders, schedule deliveries, and manage full sales cycle; Inventory planning / management - forecasting demand and maintaining accurate inventory records; Partner with other domestic and international teams to streamline operations; Assist with administration and billing tasks as needed; Coordinate and manage railroad and trucking carriers, with some potential for marine carriers
  • Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing or other related field; 5 years' in a logistics role; Experience managing railroad and trucking carries required; Experience with marine logistics highly desirable; Proficient MS Office skills; Experience with Salesforce and / or SAP preferred; Strong ability to multi-task and handle time-sensitive deadlines; Ability to travel domestically and internationally on a limited basis; French language skills a plus
