We’re hiring a QHSE Specialist for our LaPorte, TX area client! We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately!
DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:
- Job Title: QHSE Specialist
- Location: LaPorte, TX
- Pay: $28-$33/hr.
- Hours: 8am-5pm M-F
- Duration: temp-to-hire
- Description of Duties: Performing tasks related to the maintenance of the ISO 9001/14001/45001 management systems, and ensuring compliance with regional EH&S regulations. Duties will include ensuring all incidents are investigated and corrective actions completed; assisting with quarterly KPI status updates, preparing quarterly safety meeting presentations; compiling annual data for reporting; performing all waste management for the site including scheduling pickups, training employees on waste requirements and classifications, filing manifests, etc.
- Requirements: Training / experience in root cause analysis, risk assessment, lab safety, RCRA and Texas Waste Management Regulation, ISO 9001, 14000, and 45001; Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook; HS Diploma or GED; Bachelor or Associate in HS&E or related field a plus
