Construction Project Manager

Job Summary

Carlucci Welding and Fabrication is one of southern New England’s fastest growing fabricators of structural steel and miscellaneous metals; located in Norwalk, CT. We work with contractors and construction management companies to provide the highest quality metal services for all stages of construction.
We are seeking a skilled Structural Steel and Misc Metals Project Manager to oversee and manage various construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the determined budget, timeline, and scope.

Responsibilities

· Perform material and labor unit take-offs.

· Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the construction project from beginning to end

· Manage project budget, schedule, quality, and safety standards

· Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams

· Utilize construction management software for project tracking and reporting

· Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with plans and specifications

· Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders

· Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project execution

· Perform material and labor unit take-offs.

· Field measure / field verify projects.

· Ability to coordinate and check shop drawings and submittals.

· Prepare field documents and labor budgets for erection crews, coordinate erection sequences with field superintendent.

· Ensure all contractual terms and obligations of projects are maintained.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field

· Proven experience in project management within structural steel fabrication

· Proficiency in project management tools such as Tekla EPM, Bluebeam desired

· Ability to read and interpret structural/architectural drawings.

· Knowledge of building codes and standards in steel construction.

· Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and resource management

· Excellent time management and organizational skills

· Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines consistently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000 - $100,000 per year based on years of experience.
