We are a grab-and-go produce-forward establishment in the heart of Healdsburg Plaza dedicated to revolutionizing how people experience fruits and vegetables. Our Wellness Bar specializes in incorporating superfoods, supplements, and herbal ingredients into innovative beverages that surprise and delight our customers, pushing the boundaries of traditional offerings while maintaining a clean, additive-free approach. We maintain strong partnerships with leading local farms, including Single Thread Farm, Middleton Farm, Treehouse Micros Farm, and more, ensuring we work with the freshest, most exceptional produce available.

The Role

As our Wellness Bar Leader, you'll oversee the front-of-house operations while inspiring creativity in beverage development. You'll lead a team dedicated to crafting innovative, nutritious drinks that highlight the natural flavors of our locally-sourced produce. This position requires someone who combines leadership skills with creative vision and a genuine passion for wellness-focused beverages.

What You'll Do

• Lead and inspire the front-of-house wellness bar team
• Train staff on our unique preparation methods and creative standards
• Set up and organize the wellness bar for daily operations
• Develop new beverage recipes incorporating superfoods, supplements, and herbals
• Source and research innovative wellness ingredients and their benefits
• Create vibrant, fresh drinks that showcase nutrient-dense ingredients
• Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all wellness bar offerings
• Create an exceptional customer experience through education about ingredient benefits
• Manage inventory, ordering, and minimize waste while maintaining product integrity
• Maintain strict quality control and food safety standards
• Resolve customer inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently
• Handle opening/closing procedures, including cash handling and reconciliation
• Identify opportunities for improvement in both product offerings and operations

What We're Looking For

• 2 years experience in beverage preparation with 1 year in a leadership role
• Passion for innovative wellness beverages and clean nutrition
• Genuine enthusiasm for superfoods, supplements, and herbal ingredients
• Knowledge of functional ingredients and their nutritional benefits
• Commitment to additive-free, preservative-free preparation
• Strong produce-handling and processing expertise
• Strong leadership abilities with excellent team-building skills
• Creative mindset and willingness to experiment with unique ingredient combinations
• Understanding of fresh produce and ingredient seasonality
• Excellent customer service skills and positive, enthusiastic attitude
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Food Handler's Safety and ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Must be available weekends
• 7 days a week operation (8 AM - 5 PM)
• Extended summer hours into early evening
• Some flexibility required for special events
