We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused, and proactive Wellness Bar Leader to oversee our juice bar's daily front-of-house operations. The Wellness Bar Leader is responsible for managing the front-of-house team, ensuring smooth and efficient service, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role is crucial in maintaining our high standards of service and contributing to the overall success of our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Help to set up and organize the wellness bar as we open our doors to the public
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the FOH team during assigned shifts
- Train, mentor, and coach FOH staff to ensure consistent, high-quality service and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the FOH area, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests
- Greet customers, answer questions and provide accurate information about our products, services, and promotions
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns professionally and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Assist with taking orders, processing payments, and preparing beverages and food items during peak hours or as needed
- Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, reconciliation, and reporting
- Communicate effectively with the management team, BOH staff, and other Wellness Bar Leaders to ensure smooth operations and address any issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency
- Foster a positive, teamwork-oriented environment and lead by example
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role within the food and beverage industry, with at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or leadership position
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Deep understanding of customer service principles and practices
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Proficiency in using POS systems and cash handling
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed
- Certification in Food Handler's Safety and ServSafe (or willingness to obtain certification)
- A passion for and sincere interest in health and nutrition are a plus.
