The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a unique global network of policy research centers in east Asia, Europe, the Middle East, India and the United States, is seeking a Donor and Corporate Relations Manager to join its development team in Washington, DC.
The Donor and Corporate Relations Manager will report to the Vice President for Development. Responsibilities include managing and expanding Carnegie’s donor relations activities, including :
- Virtual and in-person donor circle events and stewardship activities for significant donors;
- Preparing annual donor reports and streamlining donor cultivation activities;
- Managing and growing a Corporate Circle membership program through identifying, qualifying, soliciting, and convening corporate funders;
- Assisting in the planning of Board of Trustees meetings and related events;
- Leading in-person scholar meetings for principal donors and government affairs representatives in Washington.
The position requires 4-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a think tank or higher education fundraising setting, and working knowledge of fundraising databases. The ideal candidate will be collegial, detail-oriented, possess good judgment, and have excellent organization and communication skills. The ability to manage and meet deadlines is essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and be flexible towards changing priorities.
Located in Dupont Circle in Washington, DC, the Carnegie Endowment offers an outstanding benefits package, including health insurance.
