Intermediate Specialist, IT Logistics, is responsible for managing the logistics of incoming and outgoing IT assets, ensuring that all equipment is accurately tracked, received, and dispatched per company policies and project timelines. This position is instrumental in implementing and adhering to compliance standards and security measures throughout the shipping and receiving processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring the IT department operates smoothly and efficiently, supporting internal operations and external customer service objectives.
Job Functions:
Travel: No travel.
Work Conditions: Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery. Other job specific working conditions. Work will entail working in both an office and a warehouse environment. Warehouse temperatures can be extreme during the summer.
This position is classified as “in-office.” Because of the nature of the role, employees are required to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida five days each week. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.

Job Functions:
- Execute shipping process for IT equipment, ensuring timely dispatch according to organizational schedules.
- Properly pack equipment for shipping or storage to prevent damage and maintain functionality.
- Respond to and manage service requests related to IT logistics, ensuring timely resolution and user satisfaction.
- Receive IT equipment, verifying quantities and quality, and documenting any discrepancies.
- Effectively communicate with warehouse personnel and loading individuals to coordinate and streamline operations
- Efficiently remove and decommission equipment post-use, adhering to company protocols for data security and hardware management.
- Maintain proficiency in the systems used by the warehouse provider to enhance operational efficiency and integration.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
- High School diplomas with experience required/Associate’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 3 year of IT operations, logistics management, and coordination of supply chain processes, preferably in IT required.
- 1 years cruise and/or travel industry preferred.
- Forklift Certification upon hire preferred
- Ability to manage logistics software systems and technology related to inventory and shipment tracking. Prior use of AssetPanda, ServiceNow, and Mediawiki or similar systems.
- Knowledge of IT equipment and familiarity with a wide range of IT programs.
- Skilled in operating heavy machinery for moving and wrapping pallets.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Strong communication, collaboration, time-management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies and concepts.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Ability to think critically, problem solve creatively, and perform root cause analysis.
- Analytical and detailed oriented with a strong business sense.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload, and achieve effective results.
- Proficiency in MS Office products.
- Primary language English, Bilingual (English and Spanish), a plus.
