Fast paced, busy Family Law firm looking for a qualified, full-time legal assistant/paralegal.
Location: Miami Beach
Requirements:
Litigation experience required (no exceptions)
Must follow through on tasks without constant reminders
Must read emails and be responsive to each one
Excellent verbal communications in English and Spanish
Enjoys client interaction and management
Fastidious organizational skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and not be overwhelmed
Friendly demeanor and is a team player
Proficient in Word, Outlook and Excel and excellent computer skills
Able to prioritize
Must follow instruction
Takes initiative
Extremely Detailed Oriented
Sales experience, preferred
General Duties include:
Answer phones, set up telephone conferences and zoom conferences
Make sure attorneys are connected to call on time
Convert inquiries into scheduled consultations for attorneys
Scheduling – both business and personal matters for attorneys
Calendaring deadlines
Electronic filing and use of Courtmap
Creating and maintaining Digital files up to date
Updating client lists and conflict lists
Billing your time and attorney’s time
