Computer and Information Systems Manager WANTED! !!!
State- of- the- art medical office is in need of a full time IT consultant. We have multiple facilities using an electronic medical records software called eClinicalWorks.
General Idea of some aspects of the position:
- Handle all maintenance and repair of 30 computers that are networked with multiple servers, multiple printers, scanners, video cameras etc. We have four locations and our employees need to be able to gain access to share drives, print from off- site printers, access scanned documents that were scanned at other locations, etc.
- Manage all remote desktop connections.
- Be able to use software to make training videos for staff on various subjects. This means not just taking film off a video camera but editing it, adding word captions, fading etc.
- Create and run a company website
- Do full scans on computers for security and viruses
- Teach classes on the use of multiple programs including Excel, Word, Publisher, and PowerPoint, Dragon Naturally Speaking
- Implement project and resource management scheduling and tracking tools for all staff to improve productivity
- Manage surveillance cameras set up and interface with computers.
- Install key logger software and maintain reports
- Set up all new employees with logins to all aspects of computers and software and keep records of logins and passwords updated
- Performing User Account Management and provide reporting
- Monitoring request queue for new requests and manage each to closure
- Analyzing reported issues to determine root cause
- Escalating issues to vendor as required and manage each to closure
- Solve daily problems of printers running out of toner, jamming, being off line with computers, downloading print drivers to computers, cleaning printers, sending totals to leasing companies, ordering parts, searching for better deals on lease arrangements
- Solving daily problems on all computers that have error messages.
- Installing new modems and routers as needs arise
- Maintaining software and hardware components of company cell phones, androids and Blackberries
- Creating and maintaining a log of all computers and peripheral electronics owned by company based on dates placed in use, dates repaired and dates retired.
- Keeping inventory for all electronic components of all electronic equipment in offices
- Manage all aspects of Television services for patients such as solving technical problems with vendor, channel blocking etc
- Manage all aspects of credit card machine services including problems with machine going offline or jamming
- Manage all lines and cords in the office.
- Carefully keep the computers and servers clean
- Manage all aspects of Skpye phones and accounts
- Review all training materials and webinars for all software and train all staff on improvements and changes
- Review all government changes to requirements related to company business
- Review internal communications in company to maintain security.
- Activate Web Portal for company and ensure all is running effectively
- Program computers to populate correspondence and input electronic signatures
- Program computers to interface our vaccinations with the State database
- Program computers to interface with national laboratory databases
- Install and work out the bugs on many software programs
- Perform continuous internet searches to compare prices for supplies and “how-to” fixes
- Install and assemble various office furniture such as computer chairs, computer desks, shelves for holding computer components, drilling into existing cabinetry to create ventilation for computers etc.
- Develop test cases and orchestrate user testing
- Coordinate bug fix implementation
- Write a user friendly manual on how staff can fix minor computer problems on their own
