Are you passionate about animal care? We're looking for a dedicated Kennel Assistant to help provide top-notch care for our patients and boarders!
Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
- Provide daily care, including feeding, watering, cleaning, and walking pets
- Bathe animals as needed
- Safely handle and restrain pets
- Monitor behaviors and overall well-being of boarded and hospitalized pets
- Assist medical staff with tasks such as recording vitals, lab work, and radiographs
- Keep the hospital clean and stocked
Previous experience working with animals
Physical stamina to lift/move heavy pets and objects- A team player with a great attitude – smiles and laughter required!
Dependability and ability to work independently- Strong attention to detail, especially when monitoring for signs of distress or illness
