Position Summary:
The Blending Administrator is responsible for completing various administrative responsibilities within the Blending Department. Reports directly to Blending Operations Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviews and approves blending production documentation prior to submission to customers & filing, including, but not limited to, batch sheets, equipment sanitation reports, mixing instructions, pre-batch checklists, shift change forms, inventory reports, and production advice reports
- Completes systematic transactions as necessary to process liquid manufacturing orders
- Maintains a controlled document repository using the ETQ program. Holds primary responsibility for organized storage of all departmental documents
- Develops and maintains system to schedule & track preventive maintenance items
- Develops and maintains system to schedule & track calibration and service to equipment by outside vendors (scales, flow meters, hoists, etc.)
- Develops and maintains system to schedule & track CIP rinse water micro samples & bulk ingredient delivery (sugar) micro samples. Provides to laboratory personnel.
- Validates functionality of conductivity probes for CIP skids on recurring basis
- Interprets new product formula recipes and facilitates the assimilation of customer-formatted recipes into CBG NC’s ERP system, and prepares for submission to customers for review/approval
- Reviews, interprets, and maintains KPI’s for various aspects of the blending department. Submits data to Blending Manager on recurring basis.
- Reviews ingredient delivery documentation for compliance and takes appropriate action for exceptions. Maintains documentation in organized format in ETQ
- Performs inventory transactions to receive ingredients into system using Data Collection & SAP
- Utilizes Alchemy software to administrate job training for the Blending department
- Attends recurring blending internal team meetings. Compiles & distributes meeting summaries and action items digitally
- Develops and maintains system for inventory of equipment & consumables for department. Creates Purchase Orders and completes associated orders
- Other duties may be assigned

This employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and exposed to vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Physical Demands:
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Distance vision, Color Vision, Peripheral vision, and Depth perception. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk or hear, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
